A Data Intermediary is exempt from 7 of the 9 obligations under the PDPA.
The 2 obligations that will still apply to the Data Intermediary are:
- Protection of Personal data and
- Retention of Personal Data.
“Data intermediary” means an organisation which processes personal data on behalf of another organisation but does not include an employee of that other organisation;
